This is not our room, it's from my idea book, but we are doing some remodeling to our two story great room, and are using light fixtures, which will attach to the beams, like these. I would probably do two fixtures even if we don't do beams. Our celling is flat, and the three beams will run from one end to the other, but this is the idea with the lights. (The center beam will not have a light). Fans are functional, but the lights look so nice.
