My new kitchen cabinets are going to be white my designer is suggesting the cabinets on the island to be a dark brown vs. the matching white. I'm just not sure, after viewing all of the pictures on houzz some brown islands look good but is that just the current style? White on white is just the classic but iris it to much? We are also doing the floors and were thinking dark brown but are open to a lighter color.
