Yes...could you paint a rectangle or two squares around them in a contrasting color and add a little trim around those?

Yes---you need larger mirrors (3) or one BIG mirror. Lamps, at least the shades, need to be changed to taller and slight pattern. Hope this is helpful. Pretty room... :) Good Luck![houzz=][houzz=][houzz=][houzz=]

I love the large mirror you posted above...it's in my ideabook! Anyways, I think three of those smaller mirrors would work nicely in a row above your bed instead of two. Looking great!

yes. 3 mirrors or 1 larger one. OR put the existing mirrors behind the lamps and one big one above headboard.

Here's a quick pic i took to update what i did! Got a third mirror and new side tables that are higher. I realize the lamps are too narrow/small but it's something i'll probably update later when I move houses later this year! iA

Just a quick comment. Something to consider once you move if your going to use this same arrangement, hang the mirrors 4-6" lower than they currently are. I like the relaxing feel of this room, good choices!!!!

If your previous nightstands are also too short in the guest room, consider adding simple blocky legs (stained the same or painted black) to them and either painting the entire piece or simply adding isimple hardware. (I kinda liked them with your simple straight lined headboard) I also like small mirrors like yours just above and outside of the lamps on either side of a bed.
I'm working on a guest room with a similar issue, but have an arched headboard, making it an even tougher challenge......
You may consider updating the ceiling fan with a single glass shade light kit
Your room looks very calm and relaxing /nice so far !

hanging those two mirrors vertically on that piece of wall to the right between the corner and curtain. The center of the top one should be 60" above the floor and the other one about 6" below it.
Try a drum chandy in place of the fan.

If you really love your mirrors why not put them on the side wall near your bed? Buy something to match them but on a bigger scale.

Hang mirrors over each lamp. That will extend the height of lamps and make the mirrors a part of larger group. Put something else over bed.

or you could put brown throw pillows on the bed....

Use the mirrors behind taller lamps, high enough not to cover the mirrors. Add 3 large artwork above the bed but hang away from the headboard about 8"-10".

Oh, just saw the 3 mirrors. That looks nice. You might move them closer to the headboard? About 1 ft down. Just a thought.

Burlington! I am envious, too bad the nearest Burlington is 2+hrs from me. I think your room is looking great, I agree about possibly lowering the mirrors but the overall effect is very soothing.

Yes the mirrors are way too small. You may want to find some night stands that are taller so your lamp shades will be raised above the top of the headboard. I used a very large iron piece and think it looks great!

Agree with LB Interiors. With three mirrors, they look exponentially better. Yes...bring down a little as well.
