Stove without backsplash

Hello
We just bought a new stove of my dreams! It doesn't have a backsplash like the regular ones and j am concerned that it can look weird with my countertop.
There is a small portion of granite on the wall. Please see picture.
Can I do something so my new stove won't look weird?

I've never been a big fan of the granite lip that extends up a wall. This is over the top but maybe you can have it removed and put up a proper backsplash? You need to do something behind your stove b/c of grease. Great stove. I jealous!
