I'm not sure if voting for the bathroom with white shower tile is voting for painting the bathroom something other than Van Deusen Blue but thats what I recommend. Van Deusen Blue in the bedroom with white trim and accents sounds like perfection but this may be too much of a good thing in the adjoining bath. Consider selecting a complementary color that will provide a smooth transition from the navy while maintaining interest; check out Boothbay Gray/HC-165 or Revere Pewter HC-172. Both of these colors will pair well with Van Deusen Blue used as an accent perhaps a shower curtain or bath mat. On a side note I generally advocate for selecting a complementary color from the same swatch however, in this case the other colors on the Van Deusen Blue color strip would be too dark or create a choppy transition.
