Here's a neat way to create a bedroom space, give you storage and even have a place for TV with the right unit. A desk near window for computer and eating would be nice. Small scale sofa and chairs. Ottomans add extra seating and a place to put feet up as well as a coffee table if you put a tray on it.

A long narrow table would work, but it kind of looks like the window sill is wide enough to almost be an eat in bar. Maybe some stools in front would work and a rolling cart near the column to be a kind of island. If it's not wide enough then you could get a long narrow table and press it up against the window to give yourself a table but save yourself some space. If you have company you could pull the table out to seat more people.

Is that white door in the middle of the bottom picture the front door? Is there a bedroom? (In the second picture it looks like it's possible there is a bedroom to the left of what looks like a door leading to a bathroom.)

It might be the obvious choice, but I'd probably put the TV on the big white wall on some sort of cabinet and float a small couch/loveseat (depending on how much space you have) directly opposite. You can even put a small table behind the couch to double as a desk. Or if you need bookshelf space you can put a low bookshelf behind the couch.

If there isn't a bedroom then you can use the same layout, but use some sort of folding bed, maybe a futon or some sleeping/bed combo from Ikea (I did this for many years in my first studio apartments).

If you can't paint, then add color with your furniture and art selection and if you don't want to be married to a certain colored couch then buy a neutral and add color with pillows and throws. Maybe even colorful chairs/stools for the dining area. I've even been known to use floor to ceiling fabric to add color to a wall I can't paint.
