Full sun vs window sun

I have been growing my seedlings in front of a SW facing window. They are 1/2 to 2" tall right now and I just repotted them from 1" cells to 4" containers. It is no longer conveinient to keep them in front of the window. But, we are experiencing some well above average temps and sun for this time of year and I was wondering if I could put them outside during the afternoons when the temps are highest and of course the sun is peaking. Since they have only had window filtered sun so far, I am wondering if I would have to worry about sunburn like I would if they had only had artificial light up to now. Since windows in homes are typically UV filtered, I am not sure if full sun would be a problem or not. I am looking at 3-4 hours or less each day and only for the next few days, then the temps will be moving to the more normal range and I will be forced to move them to the basement and grow lights until things moderate later this spring.

Anyone?
