Thank you. I had not even thought of the option of not adding back the shutters.

I think a deep charcoal grey would look nice on the shutters and for the door I would keep the side lights a light colour ( not the same colour as the door) and you could put the charcoal grey on the door or you could use a brighter colour on the door like a deep burgundy.

Your shutters are too small. shutter needs to have a size that if closed would cover the windows. Either lose the shutter or have appropriate sized ones. Even better working shutters. I would keep the shutters white.

The grey siding you've chosen will look so charming on your home! White shutters may get lost with the grey and black, so perhaps a burgundy like sacapuntaslapioz suggested?

We recommend getting shutters that are sized properly for your windows. They could be functional or decorative but they should look as though they will cover the window. Paired with some nice hardware, it would give your house a very historic look to match it's build. Similar to this:
