Could you let me know if the métal rim and the spark screen will rust if left under the rain with time?

Ultimately, yes. Any damage to either, such as a scratch in the paintwork will allow rust to form. We would recommend keeping a tin of heat proof paint handy to repair any damage to the paint on the metal surface, as soon as it occurs. The fire pit liner has a very tough life, and we would recommend a new coat of heat resisting paint at the beginning of the season, the screen every other season.
