What size pots?

I'm getting ready to transplant a violet that has at least 4 small plants in it.

The pot it is in now is 4 inches. Should I transplant all of them into 4 inch pots or 6 inch pots? I've been told better to put them in the 6 inch ones as they'll eventually spread out.
