Enjoy the blooms and then keep the leaves growing through the summer till late summer. Turn the pots over till leaves dry completely. Late summer or early fall, turn the pots upright and start watering. Usually a bud will be the first thing showing. Some folks remove the bulbs carefully from the pots in Spring and plant directly in the ground. They then dig and repot . I have never done this with mine. Have had them for many years and they bloom every year. If the flower gets too tall, I cut it, turn over and fill the hollow stem with water and place in a bud vase.
