I own a mid-century modern home (built in the late 1960's). There is a galley kitchen withan attached island which blends into a small dining room/living room. There are stairs going downstairs just off the kitchen in the front entrance.

Looking to make this space blend as one in a more modern flare, fixing the stair railing and sectioning the rooms without loosing the open concept.

Secondly, we want to expand our driveway to fit two cars side-by-side.
