I want to replace old white kitchen/breakfast room tile and install real hardwood to match floors in adjoining dining room, living room and den. I have been told that this is not possible because the appliances will no longer fit. Countertops are granite and all would have to be lifted. Any other suggestions besides simply replacing tile with tile.
