HELP!! Pool color and pricing with Pebbletec

Help please and fast!!

When we started our pool I told the contractor I wanted the deepest pebbletec blue. So he said that is what I was getting. So we are ready to pebbletec this week and he told me he is using Tahoe blue. I told him I liked the deeper blue of the Midnight blue. ( I want the look to be like a cobalt blue) He just told me that would be a 2000.00 upgrade. We are maxed out on adding any more upgrades. Does this sound correct? A 2000 upgrade for midnight blue over Tahoe blue?

You contract doesn't state the color? I also want the deep deep blue when we resurface our pool.

The additional $2000 sound wrong to me

I was told probably 10 to 12% more for Pebble Sheen over Pebbletec.

I am looking at Pebbletec and understand that it is $500 upgrade from Tahoe Blue to Midnight Blue. So, what did you go with and do you love it? I am about to go to contract for either Tahoe Blue or Blue Lagoon. Any thoughts? I am in So Florida and face due east with full sunlight exposure all day. I would love to see a pic if you could post as well.

It really depends on the sqft they have to cover. I was told about 1200.00 more for the upgrade to cover 640sqft above my allowance.
