The 18 in the 14-18-14 is killing your tree. Try some thing like 24-8-16 and add some urea to bring it up 40-8-16, then use it ant Half strength to get 20-4-8. Flush the pot thoroughly first by soaking it for a half hour. Drip dry then soak it again for 5 minutes in new water and let it drip dry then use my solution above and cut it again to get 10-2-4 and give it a gallon more water. Use what drips out on something else. Future watering/feeding use it at 20-4-8 water. Use collected rain water if possible and make sure you don't use water from a water softener.

As Steve has mentioned your fertilizer is not ideal. It also appears as though your soil is retaining water, which is killer for Myers (which in my experience can be quite finicky in a pot). I would search the forum for 5:1:1 soil mixtures and repot the plant into this type of soil (which drains much better). Mixing sand into a potting soil mixture often complicates the drainage, and it is for these very reasons why so many folks on the forum are such supporters of 5:1:1 soil mixtures. As for your fertilizer, look up foilage pro and osmocote plus on the forum as well. Good luck!

I don't know why Steve would suggest adding that much urea when a urea contaminate biuret is a citrus killer in low amounts. Or should I say you need specific low biuret urea.

I don't know why Steve mentioned urea either. I do understand that He is getting the nitrogen up on a less than perfect feed to get better results. I personally know that he uses Grass fertilizer of 28-0-4 and and 8-0-4. He has tree-menous success with this cocktail.

But right now Steve's trees are pretty much In-Ground and biuret is less of a problem in ground than in a container. A bottomless raised bed is considered planted in the ground.

Urea is generally not good for citrus in a container.
