Entry way decor!

The attached picture is my entry way. When you walk in, the sofa couch is to your right. What can I add to spice it up a little? The wall behind foot is plain! (Also, the living/family room is to your right when you walk in) the floor Plan is open. I don't want it to look cluttered, so simple will work best. Thank you all in advance!
