Guest bedroom and guest bath

Trying to finish our guest suite. I had lots of blue and white before but got tired of it. I still want to incorporate some of it, since it was all custom made by Ethan Allen for our last home. I left the euros and the comforter on. Also, I love my Spode Blue and White pieces like the one on top of the antique wardrobe. What do you think of the blue and white plates above the bed, or a mirror. The room is painted BM Revere Pewter but went really light.
Also need to finish the guest bath. The wall color is way off, so considering wall paper to beautify the room. Thank you.

What a lovely room! You're almost there. For me, I think a statement headboard is in order. I'm not a fan of plates above the bed in a bedroom. But, wouldn't it look great to have a tufted wing back headboard in the navy blue? Yummy! If you are a DIYer, instead of the tufted wing back headboard, you could do padded squares in the navy fabric attached to the wall. Or, if you love pattern, coordinating duvet fabric upholstered on your headboard.

I love the idea of a fabric headboard. I'll have to look and see if I can find navy. Should I put something on the wall above it or leave it empty?

Lovely room. Yes tufted headboard. That's all you need. Nothing else above the bed.

Use the same pale color that you used in the bedroom. Do not do wallpaper. If you were to hang a mirror above the bed it will reflect the mirror in the armoire. You do not need anything above the bed. And I see you already have a headboard. It is a lovely room as is.

I would put a nice painting above the bed. It will add color and beautify the room.

Beautiful room! I agree with the idea of a tufted headboard, perhaps run to the ceiling, and do the walls in a fabric, and drapes in complementary hues. So that it all blends seamlessly, cocoon-like.

And of course, I would want to add an antique Venetian glass chandelier. Can I take a nap in that room, lol!?

Thank you for all the comments. We already have so me artwork one one wall. What should I look for above the bed that would work with the other two pieces?

Kathryn, if the guest room ended up looking like the picture you posted, I would move into it!

I would put a bigger horizontal painting with bright colors above the bed. It is ok to have several pictures in the same room and they should not be similar.

If you can DIY, you can easily made a stylish headboard in a navy fabric. Just make four padded boards and attach to the wall. I think a statement piece for your focal wall will look stunning. You do already have nice art in the space and the fabric will soften the room even more. Here is an inspiration photo. This is TOO many squares, but you can do just four, or three and three in a row. For your bathroom, I think it would be nice to keep it simple with blue/white towels and one of your blue/white ceramics on the counter. Maybe hang a luxurious blue bath robe near the shower.

It's so pretty! I don't think you need one more thing in the bedroom. Maybe Silver Grey in the bathroom to pull in the blue in your bedding?

For the bathroom I would have towels and mat and shower curtains in blue. Something decorative in blue on the sink. Done!

I agree that blue and gray towels and accessories would look great in that beautiful bathroom. And a mountain print would go with your Thomas Kincaid's or are those Nicky Boehme? ... how about a Van Gogh with some color:

If you want a pop of color in the bathroom, maybe orange / rust and gray... that would also coordinate with the cat ;)
