Hi! These are the Luxe version.

Thank you both!! Alex -- did you get the Sand as the color of the couch/chair cushions? Do you like that? Is there enough contrast? I was looking at an off-white fabric.. like what's pictured here.. but not sure if it would be too bright.

I got the brown wicker and the sand fabric, which contrasts beautifully with the brown wicker. See photo below. I would be worried about getting a much lighter fabric because of the potential to show dirt. But I have heard great things about the Perennials outdoor fabric being resilient.

Thanks for the picture Alex! Wow, what a pretty pergola and awesome spot to hang out! I'm definitely worried about dirt showing on the lighter fabric, but I'm hoping Perennial Fabric lives up to its name. :)

Thank you for the compliment! We love it (although the process to get that thing built was pretty stressful)! Good luck!

Sorry to bug you with one more question, Alex.. how long have you had the furniture and has it held up well? (Cushions, in particular) I know your furniture is under cover, so I'm sure that helps the longevity.

mjingli, you can ask me as many questions as you need! We JUST got it in October 2014. And to be honest, we haven't sat out there that much since then. We did cover it with covers we bought from Restoration Hardware during the winter, as snow was getting on the furniture (the wind was blowing it into the structure). Protected them beautifully!

Hi, I just happened to come across this and thought I would chime in. I have had the same color combination as Alex since the summer before last now and we absolutely love them. They have held up very well over the winter with the covers on them and they are not in a protected area. (The expense of the covers were totally worth it.) We sit on our furniture constantly -- dogs, kids, guests and are very happy. Hope this helps!

Jchood-- thank you so much for taking time to comment! The feedback really helps and makes me feel better about making such a $$$ purchase. :)

jchood's information is helpful to me as well! Thank you for chiming in! mjingli, I am so jealous that you have better information than I did when I made my purchase, but jchood's information has assured me I made the right decision. Definitely consider getting the covers for inclement weather.

I should have added one more detail which might be helpful -- this furniture sits pretty low to the ground. For us that makes it very comfortable but for those who have a hard time sitting or standing it can be more challenging. I would advise those considering these pieces to check the measurements with regard to the seat height too....

That's an excellent point, jchood. My husband and I are NOT tall people, so the height works for us.

I have heard RH's cushions were bad at retaining a lot of water (even after a light rain). Do you have any experience with this?

We are pretty careful about using our covers but even the few times we didn't, and the cushions got wet, most of the water stays at the surface and runs right off. Then they seem to very quickly dry out in the sun. I can't speak to how they would be if they got wet all of the time. I think the covers are key. I have a friend who was so excited about her new outdoor furniture from another company but she didn't get covers and the cushions are kind of dirty from a variety of sources.

Hello Shannon. This furniture is under a covered structure at my house. However, as I was searching for reviews for Restoration Hardware, I found a You Tube video, where the customer was showing how much water was retained in the cushions (he did not indicate whether it was a light or heavy rainfall). That frightened me. The video was also several years old, so it's possible that Restoration Hardware has made changes to their cushions since then. I'm sorry I don't have a more thorough answer for you.

Hi! I bought these tables at a local store in Palm Beach. I believe they are made of teak, but, unfortunately, I don't know who makes them.

hi mjingli, did you get these chairs and do you like them? I am debating between the classic and luxe version and wondering people's experience with that?

We did get the chairs and the couch and love them! We got the luxe chairs and the classic couch, due to the dimensions of our patio space. I am really glad we got the luxe chairs. The depth of the chair makes it very relaxing when you sit back. (I have a lumbar pillow on the chair that I use since I am short and it gives me back support. But other people sit in chair and remove the pillow.) I felt like the classic chairs would not have been wide enough either and you would feel like you would have to sit upright in the chairs instead of relaxing back in them. Hope that makes sense!

Shannon, I have been through one summer with the furniture and one day, there was a torrential downpour and we were out of town. We came home to cushions soaked all the way through. We put them upright in the garage and they dried thoroughly and wasn't a problem. One time, there was a light rain and they got a little wet. I stood them upright on the chairs, let them dry in the sun and they were dry the next day.

Thanks so much for the info. I think l will get the 62 inch luxe version of the couch. Was worried about it being too deep and big for the space of our porch (which it may still be), but I look at pics of some of the classic size, and they seem shallow. Also, I would have to go with a 54 inch which doesn't seem like two people could comfortably relax into it. I am biting the bullet and going with perennial linen white. It is bright, but i did do a test on the sample fabric and used bleach on magic marker and it came right out. Mine will be under a covered front porch, but not screened so nothing stopping little raccoons or neighborhood cats from running on top of it. Appreciate your response!

@jcdanek - I'm just reading through this thread and wondering what you've thought of the luxe couch you bought. Any issues with it? Is it comfortable? Would you choose the luxe or go with classic?
