This plant was collected many years ago before it was on citis. list of endangered. I have evidence that this should not be on the list. It is in a nearby state park. Put there after a rescue from a golf coarse construction. At the rescue location they were found on grave markers in an old slave cemetery. This plant is almost a weed in the Bahamas. It was brought by Bahamians to decorate the graves. Nature would not find graves only. But it is easy work for the workers at the park so they keep the lie alive.
