Need Help Choosing Area Rug

I'm looking for an area rug for this room and I need advice. Any ideas?

HI -- No more blue please, there is already too much . I think a rug with a good texture in a cream white would be better for your style of furniture.

What would you like to be your accent color for this room? I think a wide stripe in that color would work. Red and yellow both work with your blue.

Wrong blues but here are two rugs. One is geometric and the other closer to traditional. Maybe this will help you narrow what direction you want to go. Enjoy your room. It is already lovely.

Hi, yes I think pink will work as long as it's tied in with (some of) the other colors in the room somehow. A rug is a great place to do that.

Over dyed rug with blues then get rid of blue pillows and use other colors from rug or window treatments to guide pillows.

Some more rug ideas. I probably would suggest to choose a rug first then choose pillows and other potentially pattern-related items in the room afterwards. Lots of your choices will more than likely depend on the rug you choose since obviously you'd want the pillows, etc. (patterns and solids) to complement the rug (as shorted also indicated).

I would choose a brown rug or a tweed like texture in a brown with an under tone of olive to draw in the wall color. The brown could be in various colors and may make your ceiling appear higher too.

HI -- When I had a blue sofa and chair many years ago , I had a pretty red rug . I got lots of compliments . So think about red .
