I have had my eye on this plant at a local greenhouse for a few years but the $150 price was way too much. I watched as its condition deterriorated and last week it was marked down to $25. Couldn't resist despite being completely covered with scale. My plan is to rehab by treating the insect infestation first (done). I tied it up to fit it in my best window area and provide some additional light. Once the night lows are 40 I plan to move it outdoors for a month. Once it rebounds I will repot in a better mix and start pruning. Any suggestions on pruning are appreciated. I want it to be about 6 feet tall at its highest when it grows back. I am thinking I might propagate some of the cuttings because it is about 7 feet tall now and I think I am going to trim it back to about 3.5 feet tall. Let me know what you think.
