Purple sweet potato wanted

I live in Georgia Z7 and am trying to sprout my own slips of purple sweet potato, and now learn that not only is it still too cold, but that they may have been treated with something to suppress sprouting. Does anyone have any untreated potatoes to share, and what date would I be shooting for to plant the potatoes and then the slips? Thanks in advance!
