is orcid doomed? (is it doomed by over watering?

I have a Phalaenopsis orcid and I live in eastern Iowa and my orcid has yellow roots :( first the roots were too dried and now i think they are too wet... I personally thought that IF my orcid is over watered I thought the moss seemed moist but not like soaking wet. I love orcids but thinking about giving up because I guess I just dont have a green thumb, maybe i should just throw it away and give up... :( I'll try to attach a picture from my phone

Hi, Katie. Forget the Hozz app, it is a mess. Just log on through your computer.

Don't ever give up. Yellow roots are not black roots (dead). Yellow roots are alive. Please provide information about where you are growing your plant, State, zone, light, temps, etc. That is important for us to help you. Phals are tough plants and it is Springtime. All plants are in 'growth-mode.'
