Looking for your best advice for updating a perfectly serviceable kitchen to maximize for resale (but still have it be houzz-beautiful).

Fortunately cabinets, flooring and lighting are all in great shape, so it's mostly just painting cabinets, updating appliances, and putting in new counter/backsplash.

Would love any ideas you have given this bright light roomy kitchen. Cabinet/counter color ideas? hardware? maybe make one or two of the cabinets open? Would love any ideas! (rest of the living//dining/kitchen area has high ceilings, lots of light, and a teak furniture scheme with lots of coastal colors (teak coffee/side/dining tables,, grey couch, with sand and turquoise, accents).
