With no idea from me of how it happened, I found numerous wild goji appearing in a fencerow in NorthWest Arkansas.
They appear to be prolific and birds just LOVE to spread them (my thought on how they got there).

I've been wanting one for years but gave up on ordering via mail.

From what little I understand, once established, you almost can't kill them off. otoh, leaves & shoots are edible, too.

Another plant I'd like to get is honey berries. Mebbe four or five of them.

what do goji berries taste like? Southwood in Tulsa has some 10 or 12 bucks but I dont want to plant something I wont like to eat.

Wbonesteel, I had no idea you could eat the leaves! The 2 inch spikes are brutal, but worth it for the little nutrient rich berries. Flavor is sweet and tangy, kinda-sorta like cranberries. Almost worth their weight in gold at local stores.

I actually don't like the flavor. Taste one before you buy a plant, I'd suggest.

I grow mine in a pot. Berries off the vine are bitter to me. Don't really taste like anything else. In most stores they are sold dried, very nutritious, and very expensive.
