If by "flushmount" you mean a sink that sits on top of the counter, as opposed to an undermount sink, the sink cabinet will have a 34 1/2" interior opening. So any sink with a 34" bowl dimension should easity fit.

Thanks, willtv. I think the proper word for what I'm looking for is dual-mount sink. I was trying to distinguish between those sinks that are top-mounted but have an upraised portion around the sink bowl on the top deck and the more flat ones. On one of the websites I looked at it, they called it a flush-mount as it is more flush with the countertop, but I'm seeing it referred to as a dual-mount other places. The majority of the ones I am finding are 33" and the interior dimension is at least 2 inches less than that. I would prefer more space inside the sink(s).

I've also seen them called deck mount. There are 35" sinks out there, and often a 36" sink is measured from the edge-edge which makes the exterior dimension of the basins themselves somewhat less and perhaps doable. You will have to pull up the drawing with measurements ("specs") of any sink you are interested in and look for an exterior basin dimension of less than 34.5"

I bought a double can pullout (15") from Rev-a-shelf, and a 15" without cans. I then replaced one of the cans that came with the unit, with a smaller can -- larger is recycling, smaller is trash. The other pullout holds my compost can and things like sponges, cleaner, and bags.

If you get a larger pullout, but then put smaller cans in it, you can have room to store things like bags on the same pullout.

Thanks, raee_gw. I have spend quite a bit of time searching to no avail. I think I'm going to end up with an apron-front Vigo. Even though apron-front wasn't our first choice, it has big deep bowls.

Check out the radioactive stainless issues with imported stainless products. Question the country of origin. Question anything with too low of a price to be true. There's a reason!

Thanks, live_wire_oak. Is there a list somewhere about which sinks are affected? The only thing Google turned up for me was that even Kohler manufactures their sinks in China. Are there any sinks *not* made in China? Are only certain sinks affected? Any insight into this would be helpful as buying a radioactive sink isn't on my list of kitchen must-haves. Thanks!

We have the Blanco Silgranite II Diamond Super Single Bowl sink (in black/Antracite color) and love it. It can be top mounted or undermounted. Ours is currently top mounted (very small lip above counter and will be undermounted shortly as we remodel our kitchen.
