I can vouch for Penang Peach as both easy, early and reliable to bloom and it comes with a fresh peach scent too. I heard Kimo is a different story for a lot of people.
Some easy ones to consider: Aztec Gold, Celadine, Dwarf Singapore Pink, Ammaron's Curly White... I'm sure there are more but these come to mind.

Awesome! I have Aztec Gold and celandine that were gifted to me as cuttings last year. I'm wondering if I'll have flowers from them this summer. Penang Peach has been on my wish list since I saw Laura's photo last summer. It sounds like one that I will love. Is the Kimo a challenge to bloom? so far I have 5 and I plan on buying 2 more this year. I think that will be pretty much it since space is limited in the winter.

Candy Stripe is an easy bloomer in my yard, and IMO, is greatly underrated. Divine is another great bloomer.

Last year my Kimo bloomed for the first time so the jury is still out. It took 3 years for it to bloom and didn't dazzle me. I have an inflo now, but it probably will still bloom in cooler temps.

JJ's Thumbalina likes to bloom, too. :)

Seconding what Freak4plumeria said about Jungle Jack's- Divine & CS3 have been blooming machines for me! I got my CS3 2 years ago I believe, as a 3 tip and now it has...are you ready for this? TWENTY FIVE TIPS! And Divine is also constantly blooming for me. In addition, my Gina although not as wildly as those 2 has been a very reliable bloomer, sometimes blooming for months at a time off of the same big inflo. I just got Atlantis last year but it bloomed on 2 tips for me last year and now also has a gigantic seedpod on it. My Penang Peach is one of my very favorites - it took a while to gain some momentum but it bloomed very large, round full inflos when it did and it was stunning. But they can all be different for different people of course - and my Kimo has been a bit stingy to be honest.

Thanks guys! I actually have Guillots sunset, and Samoan fluff thanks to Laura. I also got bridal bouquet from a trade last year. Are there easy bloomers that look just like Kimo? I'm definitely getting a Penang peach.

I was looking through JJ's gallery, and I saw a beautiful one called firestorm. Is that one that blooms easily?

My 1st Kimo also took about 3 yrs to bloom, but it was a cutting about 18" I bought from Tropic Nature. I bought a large 30" plus Kimo cutting from Blooming Plumeria aka Fuzzy and it rooted and bloomed by the next season, so I feel that size does matter.... Just my 2 cents.

My Firestorms a great bloomer, bought a 5 gal plant from John without inflos. I think it took 2 seasons before it bloomed, kind of leggy growth on mine. Usually the leggy ones take a bit longer to bloom, but when it gets to a certain size it will bloom regularly like my Firestorm now. FS is one of my favorites, top 10 and a keeper.
Firestorms flowers are much larger than Kimo though. Just like Kimo climate and sun will effect color.

There is a Plumeria Gold OP #3 which is similar to Kimo in looks but I do not know if it less stingy with its bloom. If you go to MPG they sell the cuttings and plants of OP#3 there. You can E mail Doug or Jennifer and ask them about the blooming habits.

Color in cooler temps and warmer temps.

James - I agree... size does matter. My kimo is toying with me, blooming in cooler temps. Ready to bloom again now in early spring.

About Firestorm... mine got it's first inflo just as the weather was turning cool so I never saw a flower. I was hoping it would stall and hold until spring. Looking at it now, I think it there is still hope that it may do something. Again, in cool temps. lol

I agree with all of the above mentioned trees!! I go from one to the other thinking " oh yes, I love that one too!" Lol...

J-105 is another. It never fails to bloom and is on the top list too!

Penang Peach is another... Lol. You all have me so excited for this summer!!!

Divine is pretty reliable. Also Penang Peach for me. I don't have experience with a lot of them. Kimo is pretty reliable once the plant gets larger and more robust.

What you want are plants that bloom on shorter branches or 'internodes'. Therefore they bloom earlier on new wood.

I got rid of Aztec Gold, Celadine, Miami Rose, and many others as they wanted to have really long branches (over 18") before blooming. Plants were ungainly too large and not worth the effort to winter over. At least under my conditions.
