I am trying to find a wall color for my living/dining room combo that compliments these two rugs that are approximately two feet apart. The pictures do not do the rugs justice. In the 3rd picture the rug appears to have much more green than it does in my home. I have old honey colored wood floors and lathe and plaster walls. I am thinking mid to lighter warm neitrals. I seem to lean towards the gold undertones. The neutrals with more red in them seem to look very pink. I really want to exude warmth. I keep coming back to golder tones. Do i maybe need something with some gray in it. Am I way off? All suggestions are welcome.
