My first thought was to place a screen in the left corner of room for privacy.

I would find a fun vibrant indoor/outdoor rug with some of the colors that you like (have attached an example below). For the area to either side of the loveseat, I would add colorful side tables (perhaps something like parsons tables) with lamps, to make it more of a usable indoor/outdoor space. If possible, you might also consider roller blinds or some other type of screening for privacy.

I'm in agreement on privacy screening, though I would consider using a full tall full green plant instead and more small plants for balance. It would also tie the inside to the outside and bring in some needed color. More throw pillows and personal touches with bits of bold accent colors and some bling/sparkle to complement the earth tones.

Presumably you made a screened-in porch because you like the breeze when you're out there, so I'd advise away from the major barricades and walls. I'd put a medium end table on one end, with a lamp for evening reading, and a magazine rack or basket for periodicals and other reading materials on the other end. Get recreational! :)

I'm in agreement on a colorful rug, but @acm is right, if you like the breeze you're going to be missing out on a great halfway house to beautiful weather.

The natural light would bounce off of long flowing light or white drapes (weather-proof, or the like) and brighten up the space as a whole, while bold teal seat covers, throws, or pillows on the chairs. I'd go so far as to sandblast the table down to a soft driftwood color, to keep the space airy.

Small touches could encourage folks to step into the space like tall accent hurricane candles, large bright leafy plant in a corner, maybe even make a point to have faux calla lilies on the table stuffed into a tall slim vase with some clear pebbles and sand at the bottom. After that, it's all about accents!

Thank you everyone so much! I really do appreciate all of the help. I found a bright colorful rug very similar to the one Karielen suggested. It definitely brightens up the space. We get a lot of wind on our patio, so decor accents that aren't very heavy can be a challenge. I have a couple of faux palm plants that I'm using to temporarily fill the space and find them toppled over every morning! We do have a ceiling fan/light combo that will come in handy on hot, humid NC nights. Barbara, I would love to find some affordable Chinese garden stools, any ideas on where to find a good deal? I plan on hanging the 'driftwood' Welcome fish once I find some Command hooks for outdoor surfaces.

The rug adds the needed color and is a jumping off point for throw pillows and other accessories. I would put a large plant or a drapery panel in the corner to block the view of the neighbor and break up that corner and find some colorful floral pillows in your blue and green shades to add a different pattern. Find a green or bright blue ceramic garden stool for next to the chair and/or to act as an end table next to the love seat. Depending on your budget, check out target and walmart for the garden stool and pillows or sites like www.grandinroad.com. Even overstock.com and amazon have some good deals if you type in the right keywords. Consider hanging artwork from chains or rope attached to a hook on the window surrounds or even from the ceiling. Have fun...looks like a fun spot to spend summer evenings.

I would try thin narrow black flower boxes, almost the height of the window, to fill out the lower windows, even every second window would be fine. Add rustic willow vines or lattice to the upper windows above each flower box keeping all the remaining windows bare except for the over growth of the plants or vines from each box reaching across to the other windows. Decorative mixed pots, family heirloom containers or teapots, scattered on the floor with seasonal plants will finish off the this irresistible sun room to enjoy any season.

I'd place some heavy bricks in the bottom of the palm containers if you want to keep them from blowing over.

I'd keep it really simple and unfussy. Maybe a couple of hanging planters with greenery and flowers that couldn't be blown over, pillows and a few other accents in favorite colors? Keep it airy, outdoorsy and easy to care for.

Some flowing, white, outdoor window panels might soften the space. I would add a tree in the corner with some up-lighting for evening ambiance. Definitely lots of color in the rug.
