The molding in our kitchen was not completed when we purchased it. Just had the straight piece but not the pretty top or bottom piece. ( sorry don't know the correct names) I like the color but I'm having trouble matching it. I like the red tone but reds I find are orangey or mahogany. Any suggestions? The home is 60 or so years old. Any one know what kind of wood they are?

I've tried a light walnut, which looks close but looks more brown. Have not seen any color like this. I want the trim to the left to match the molding.
