The spot of hot pink really sets it oss - great job!

I found the hot pink butterfly at Michael's Craft Store for 50 cents. They had a bin with spring things on sale. Had the hot pink, light pink and white butterflies when I bought mine. That mesh is not fun to work with!! It gets caught in my shirt, my living room chair and the carpet. It's like Velcro!! Think I'll try the burlap next time.

Beautiful! I have some mesh in red I was given. I saw a vase that looked terrific with it at TS but I haven't tried working with it. What did you attach it to? Mine is about 24 inches wide is that what yours is? The lighter flowers & pastel eggs, tricolor ribbon really make it along with the butterfly for the perfect finish. Darker colors just wouldn't work very well. This is so tastefully done! Jan

The vase in case anyone wants to know was clear glass about14 in. tall getting wider as it went up & then going in right before top to opening about size of fruit jar. Made it easy they simply wrap the mesh around & tie with a lovely ribbon. The mesh was untrimmed & like you might do wrapping a ball, cut square & bring up to top & tie & flare out the ends. Hope that is clear. I almost bought it but doesn't match anything I have but would really look nice at Christmas with some fresh greens in it.

I used a 12" Wire Wreath Form. Didn't want to do the 18" one on my first try. Really don't think I ever want to do an 18" one!!! With 2 rows of loops, it makes the 12" wreath full. Just finished doing a 3rd one. Haven't added anything to it yet. I hot glued the eggs onto the mesh on the wreath above. There may be a better way of attaching them, maybe?? I was happy that the butterfly had a large clip on the back so that all I had to do was clip it onto one of the mesh loops. Do they make clips that you can glue onto things?

Yes, they are called alligator clips. I think Harbor Freight was where GF got them for me. About 6 to pkg. Not too expensive maybe $2. Similar to "sweater clips" from the 1950's Chrome colored with black end, about 1 1/2 in. long I think. Hot glue wouldn't hold up on sunny outside door. Quick Grip would probably be best as it adheres to plastic is you rough it up a bit so easy to do on spot on egg with a little sand paper. It grips fast which is nice, not a long waiting period. I'm always in a hurry to get things done!LOL Jan

Oh, did you cut the mesh ,I can't imagine trying to make loops with how wide mine ?

I didn't use the wide mesh. I bought the 6" wide mesh. How would you even gather that wide mesh?? I went to a tutorial online and what the girl used was the narrow mesh. I don't do a lot of crafts. If there's one thing I've learned when doing them, you (or I) need 3 hands AND small fingers. Sewing has always been my hobby since I was in 4th grade. Crafts that are sewn and stuffed are a lot easier for me

I just made the mistake of posting a picture of my wreath on FB and then had 3 other people wanting me to make them one...lol.
