I ordered 2 vanity lights from wine country craftsman. I live in CA and sent them to my son's house in NY. when he opened them, he found 3 of the 6 wine bottle lights are broken. Do I contact the manufacturer direct? Please advise. thank you

Hi, barbolima.....the color of the glass is white. Think about etching clear glass. I think that's the process they used. We put our fixtures in a bathroom off of our wine room. Our cabinets are white and the hardware is pewter. These will look great with your colors you described. Jen was wonderful in helping to resolve our problem. Good luck!

This wine bottle vanity light is very attractive on the houzz website. Because it looked like something I would love in my future home I ordered it early as there were supposedly only 5 left. We went off to Florida for the winter and the electrician finally was able to put this piece up in my bathroom in April. He connected the wire for all three lamps and it totally shorted out. Sparks were literally flying so the electrician said the wires were frayed and below UL standards. He refused to continue to install it as he felt it was a fire hazard. He then rewired the whole piece and still had a problem installing as the holes did not line up. After spending multiple hours on this piece it is finally installed safely. I did contact wine country craftsmen and they told me that unfortunately I had a third party get involved and it seemed like we got a lemon and should have asked for a new one. How could I possibly trust that the next one would come in a safer condition and how long would it take. We have a very caring electrician and if it wasn't for him we could easily have had a fire in our new home. Wine country has offered me $150. Credit if I sign a release that I will not contact houzz. I feel that this should be taken down from your site as it is a safety hazard. It would be irresponsible for me not to notify you.
