We planted a vineyard with three rows of grapes a year ago. We originally planned to mulch the slope in the vineyard but are looking for other ideas that could be more attractive. A landscape architect suggested growing grass with new underground water technology but he's never done it and my vine guy is opposed to it. Any ideas. This is for northern ca. Ideas and pictures of sloped vineyards in back yards with anything other than mulch would be helpful.
