Some of my blooms. Have way too many flowering bulbs indoors and outdoors. It's been hot out here in CA so the outdoor bulbs that are blooming I moved to shady area. Still have tons with flower stocks some I added to my collection this year and can't wait to see them bloom!

Don't you love this time of year?!? Warm here too, so blooms are not lasting as long as they do in a cool year. I see you love the doubles!

Lovely collection, even here more and more people are going for doubles. I have many doubles of my own breeding but I think they lack the character that singles have.

The doubles that one can buy are gorgeous but I personally will no longer breed with doubles, all I get is partials with a few extra petals which totally ruins the flowers in my estimation. I'm too old to bother to backcross with a double again as I want instant gratification (still 3 or 4 years). So I will just strive for singles and cybister types, my very favorites. I'lll let the professionals deal with the doubles!

I love the doubles too but the cleanliness, purity and simplicity of the single has captured my heart. All of these are lovely!
