Turkey roasting in the oven and a fireplace full of burning birch logs and of course a Christmas tree. In the summer,the smell of lilacs and chlorine from the pool thru the kitchen window

Fresh clothesline dried sheets!

1.) Scott's Liquid Gold (fresh almond scent with shiny furniture);
2.) a hint of Pine Sol;
3.) bleach in the bathrooms with the combined potpourri from shower products (Aveda Rosemary, Shampure).
4.) Whatever scent The Four Seasons hotel uses is grand!

timanahaf, I found a candle just today that smells just like snuffed out matches! They are the ash scented candles by Baxter of California.

The scent that drifts in through the screen windows of the sunroom before a big thunderstorm.

Just one? No way. Depends on the room and time of year. At Christmas, a fresh tree in the living room, baked goods in the kitchen, cinnamon candles throughout. Other times, coffee brewing in the morning in the kitchen, my bubble bath and lotion in the bathroom, fresh air from a late spring breeze blowing through the open windows. Also, I like it when I walk into the bathroom and the scent of my husband's cologne still lingers lightly in the air.

Scents of the seasons, real Christmas trees and the branches trimmed added to arrangements around the house to spread scent, flowers and herbs in spring, summer and fall - roses, irises and daffodils, honeysuckle. Coffee and bacon on Saturday mornings when we have time to linger.
Coming home to dinner in the crockpot or oven. Baking family favorites like gingerbread, soda bread, cookies and pies.
And the smell of rain.

There are so many! But it has to be baking bread. But then there is the fresh, line dried cotton bedding. That is heaven.

No artificial smells, just clean, fresh air and, if possible, hyacinths and lilacs! Cotton bedding dried on the line, fragrant flowers.

I have a huge weakness for Pier1's Cranberry Balsam candles. I was so upset when, for a few years, they quit carrying those...then last year, they brought them back! I had a stash of votives in a dining room sideboard, that smells amazing when you open it, so I quickly bought myself a bunch more! Now another piece of furniture has another mother lode of them, and when I need a huge smile, and an AHHH!, I just open these pieces, and breathe deeply. My house has a very faint aroma of these candles (just from keeping them, I think) and when we are away for a few days, and return home, I can detect the faint scent of them. I love it.

Also love coffee, fresh line dried sheets, many of the things growing in my garden, and puppy breath! I miss puppy breath. Now that they are older, it's not so nice. Sigh.

Here's one I haven't read: I have a grandfather clock, about 200 years old....handmade and fairly primitive. When I open the case to wind the clock, the deep, concentrated wood scent immediately transports me back to my Irish grandmother's house. She died when I was nine and I'm sixty now, so both the scent and memories are pretty strong. And pleasant.

When we lived in Virginia, my husband planted 3 linden trees in the side yard. Every May, they had thousands of nondescript tiny blossoms, that smelled like honey. Wonderful!

Ooh.... that's a hard one. Depends on my mood I suppose. Sometimes berry and other sweet fruity smells, sometimes peppermint or a clean crisp linen smell and even a "just cleaned the house with pine o clean" smell. I'm a bit weird aren't I? lol

Both of my scents are of the elite class! With these scents people will know your important! One of the best smells your house could ever enjoy would be birch logs burning in your fireplace (needs heated air vents) (only birch wood) it will create a bleach/coffee smell in your house, so very good smelling and will drench everything in your house with this smell for years to come (remember, only birch wood). FYI, Also, birch essential oil doesn't compare to this method so don't get a candle or the oil expecting your house to smell like a bleach/coffee smell; it won't work. Another really great smell that your guests will never forget in your house (which smells amazing if I say so myself) is any food baked with tomato paste, brown sugar, and a touch of cinnamon. Meats: pork chops, meatloaf, etc.. Your guest will never forget the smell upon walking to your front door for a fine dinner! I love smelling doughnuts wafting through the air. The Barbara Streisand rose and Angel Face rose ( AF has a lemony rose sent ) both smell wonderful in a rose bowl. Peonies and Saltwater.

No Smell whatsoever is my favorite smell, Coffee is a close 2nd.

I use bath and bodywork plugins so my home smells like peach in the spring/summer and vanilla in the fall/ winter

Fresh coffee, also you sometimes walk by a house where clothes are being washed and dried and ironed. The smell of laundry!

Clean sheets, freshly baked bread and the smell of Bondo! I always go out to the garage for a whiff when my husband is using it.

Fresh air with no discernible scent or odor.

The smell of fresh laundry out of the dryer. I don't use scented dryer sheets. And I think I posted this already.

I have a Forest smells candle from the National Nordic Museum near my home. It smells exactly like the forests in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway when we were there this past summer! Brings wonderful memories, and makes me feel like the outdoors has come into my home!

No smell! I don’t like to burn candles, and as I age, artificial scents cause headaches. So no smell at all. We use these little gadgets that plug in an outlet, and use an UV bulb to sanitize the air. A fan draws the air through the device to be exposed to the bulb. We have two, at each end of the condo. They do hum, but I’ve gotten used to that. We were gone for a week, and came home to fresh smelling rooms. We got them on Amazon.
