I think the sun's effects have something to do with what you're seeing.

The full-sun section certainly is showing the best results so far. I would consider the other areas to be viable, but they will need more sun or heat exposure. In other words, you might have accidentally discovered that your house has several micro-climates and that the full-sun area will have the best results in general.

Even in my place, 2 similar plants, about 5 feet apart, have different sun exposures (due to the house casting a shadow). The one which gets more sun is significantly doing better currently.

I would give more time to the other 2 sections of your house before calling the bulbs a dud and repositioning them.

After the foliage yellows, I would dig them and replant into a sunny area. A newly purchased bulb should have all the energy needed to bloom. In my experience a non blooming daffodil will only get weaker in coming years. I am assuming that your location allows daffs to be left year around in the ground. Al

If they were planted just a month ago, they might just be slower to emerge, and bloom, due to lack of full sun, and warmth.

Were they all the same cultivar. as some are earlier, or later than others.

Can "non bloomers" be dug up and 'saved' for next year ? If and when should we do this?
After the foliage has fallen over and yellowed, and before it disappears, dig them. Dry them, and store them properly someplace where they will get good air circulation, and then plant them at the proper time this fall after the soil has cooled.
