This is taking over the edges of my lawn where it transitions to woodlands. It's about 4 feet tall in the late summer and has a seed pod like a bur only the spines are sharp. I have a picture of it taken today of the dried burs and the rosette of leaves at the base- also what it looks like coming up through the grass. Too much of it to hand pull- too many tree roots elsewhere to hoe. Any suggestions for attack?
