Paint for kitchen cabinets

My cabinets are now a yellowed white wash, done 15 years ago. I want to paint them an off white. There is a window over the sink with trim that will be very close to the cabinets. Trim is done in SW Collector's white. Should I use that color on the cabinets, or go with something different. Also, what type of paint should I use: semi sheen, gloss, etc. Suggestions appreciated.

The more sheen, the more the imperfections in the wood will show. But you still want to be able to scrub it. I'm thinking the satin but I will let other people weigh in. I would just pick an off-white that you like. And they will look fine. White doesn't have to match.

I use eggshell on my cabs and then top with satin polyacrylic. Make sure the top coat is acrylic based or your whites will yellow over time.
