Oh my! With a window like this, with such a high view, you need to accent that. I am thinking a much longer curtain rod mounted right below the ceiling, so that your grommet topped curtain panels can open completely and leave the window bare when you want light. Then quickly pull them closed at night for privacy and coziness.
