My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
The persimmons are doing great! Haven't lost a single one! I'm still waiting on the sassafras, though. I think I might lose one or two, but I'm not sure, yet.
I appreciate your help with adding those trees to my 'collection'! ;)
You're welcome. If the sassafras don't make it, maybe they will come by seed. I do hope that all the persimmon seeds don't turn out to produce male trees.
You sent me about 1/2 dozen bare root saplings of each tree. I mixed a bit of composted manure into each hole and planted all of them. The dogs broke off one of the sassafras trees, but it's green inside, so it might still survive. The rest of the sassafras are still flexible, but no sign of buds, yet. :)
I did have a dew persimmons seeds from someone a few years ago, but none of those survived. I still have four seeds to plant, if they're still good.
