Thank you so much! Here is a close-up of the table as I originally found it in the Camden Antiques Market in Camden, SC. It's nice that way, too, but didn't really fit in with the room, so a can of antique gold spray paint (Michael's Craft Stores) followed by an antique wash (raw umber diluted and brushed onto certain areas to give the illusion of age) and voila! faux gold leaf!

Anyway, the table is Italian, probably from the late 50s, early 60s. I love it, too, but unfortunately (or fortunately for my clients) it's one of those serendipitous finds that's hard to duplicate.
