My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Hello,

    The grass type is zoysia. It is soft, flowing and it can tolerate wide variations in temperature, sunlight, and water. This is in zone 8 in Austin, Tx. We go through periods that are very dry and it fairs quite well.

    Will this grow in shade? Under oaks & elms in Round Rock, West side? Do you know of any grasses that will? This is lovely stuff! Thanks!

    Hello archadeckjuli,
    In some of the other pictures you can see there are a few trees on the site. The grass is still thriving today. The trees around the zoysia are cedar elm and oak. I would encourage you to contact an appropriate local landscape authority to confirm the best variety. There are several different types of the zoysia.
