too dark imho

I have quite a bit of Shaker Beige in my home. I like it very much. My
decorator chose it and told me it's a color that looks good with a
variety of tones. My kitchen has some of the tones of your floor and it
looks good. It's not a dark color but it depends of course on the
lighting too.
I'd search in Houzz for Shaker Beige and you'll see
what it looks like in different rooms and different lights. Be sure to
paint a good big sample board and check it out at different times of
day.
