I was gifted a division of a friend's iris in Spring 2014. It looked stressed so I kept it in the pot, sunk it in the ground in a protected spot and promptly forgot about it. I found it a few days ago growing fans under a huge pile of autumn leaves. Anyway, noticed these holes in the leaves. My first thought was it could be the borer, but now I am thinking they are just slugs as it was damp in the leaves.What do you think?Whole clump (in new sunnier location:

Description of holes:. Round, ate through and entire layer of leaf, about half the size of a pencil eraser.
