When I start to add a comment, like right now, a series of icons appear beneath the text box. One of them is a camera, with the word "photo" next to it. If I click on that, a window opens with the pictures directory for my computer. I navigate to the picture I want, double click, and ...

voila! a picture. Starting a new post works the same way as adding a comment.

Can you not see the camera icon? Or does it not bring up the directory?

You are better at magic than some of us. I have been clicking on that Photo Icon for ages and nothing ever happens.

You crack me up, Arthur. I'm familiar with the camera icon, but after navigating to my photo, all I get is the text URL. People can click on them, but usually don't bother. All I can say is, it shouldn't be so tricky!

That is really weird. I usually use the Chrome browser, but checked it out in Firefox and Internet Exploder. Both worked the same way. (Easiest picture upload EVER--at least if it works).

There IS a picture (3 pink and yellow flowers) in my previous posting, right? Maybe I'm the only one that can see it?

Have you tried the "Houzz Photo" icon instead? That let me drag and drop this one:

Andrea that little camera under the posting box doesn't do anything for me either. Here is how I do it and it works every time: I do this on my iPad. I compose my post in the memo app, put the curser where I want the photo to appear, go to the photo folder on the iPad, long press the photo and then copy it in the memo app post. Then I copy the whole thing, text and phto(s) in garden web. If you use a PC you could do this in Word.

I've solved the problem using Flckr on a Mac. Go into edit mode on Flickr and drag the images out to desktop. Then use Houzz Photo. Still get nothing if I click on Photo.
