Ok, I'll bite, though I'm not sure why. What in heaven's name is a ground orchid? If you have something to trade, you'd be best to post photos or post botanical names, otherwise no one has much of a clue what you mean.

Ground orchids, google it. available at Florida Hill Nursery, Breck's, there are p lenty of Google Images for them, what I found out is hardy to zone 5 with plenty of mulch. Also, good growing in pots.

Well probably going to keep them in pots then, overwintering in the house.

That'd probably be more sure. I was quite impressed with the length of the floral show inside...far longer than it was when I grew them outside years ago. Still, I have enough orchids in the house, and so they're going outside ;)

I have a beautiful ground orchid in container outside, I will get photo and name off to you in the morning - would be glad to trade for bareroot orchid - I love encyclias, Blc's, Lc's, Brassavola, I will look up to see the lowest temp but feel it is best to container them and tuck them in garden. Still looking?
