Regarding "wimpy" it is too early to tell, but, it wouldn't hurt to put a reflective material such as aluminized Mylar on the sides. What is the brand and labeled color of the greenish looking bulb?

The blue/greeny one closer to the camera is labelled "Sylvania Cool White 20W".

Seems as though it's only the Bellstar plum/paste seedlings that are acting strangely, not sure if it's related to lighting. The leaves are really starting to curl on a few of them now.

I understand/agree about the heat and agree about the light
diminishing at the ends.

I thought there was a point of diminishing returns on lights
(fixtures); whereas the fixture is putting out more light than can be absorb by
the plant?

There is a point where you can have more light than the plant can use but you can not reach that level with fluorescent lights. You could get there with some HID systems by getting the lights too close but without some serious cooling equipment the plant will probably burst into flames first.

Thanks for the correction on the intensity! I looked into it more and everyone agrees. I have changed my tune or should I say intensity!
