Some more blooms this week...

Just had a bit of rain yesterday, which we badly need. But the blooms are popping out like weeds (or with the weeds) lol.

HOT COCOA

And the diseases are rampant... Augghhh...

Is Peppermint Twist a climber? I just love stripes and I do not know that one. I always enjoy your photos Beth. You have an amazing collection!

Huckdog PEPPERMINT TWIST is not a climber, it's an older J&P floribunda. It was part of a set of 4 stripeys that they offered in the early 90s. The other ones were PURPLE TIGER, ORANGE SPLASH and TIGER TAIL. PURPLE SPLASH is the only one that is still available commercially.

Lovely roses. I ordered Chic bc of your pic a few years back and have loved it but fear it may have died this winter. Soooooo hoping not. Thanks for sharing your loves. Judy

Apricot is my pick today. But sure lusting after Stephen Rulo. I can live with a little blackspot.

Della Reese just kills me. How do I not have that? Stephen Rulo was super interesting also. I love your iris! I have several blooming right now, and most are purple. WHY do I only ever buy purple? It's a sickness, I tell you. I need more red... or orange... or one like yours? :)

Judy, I nearly lost CHIC a few yrs ago. So glad I didn't tho. I love the weird color.

Brittie, watch out with those irises. They are as addicting as the roses. I finally had to quit ordering more of them. They can become invasive if you don't keep on top of them! But there are some really beautiful and unusual ones out there.

Bayarea girl, The spots on CATHEDRAL are indeed Black spot! Unfortunately, I get tons of B/S in the early spring. But it "burns off" when the high temps roll in.
