Hi,

My aunt planted a fig tree a few years ago and it was doing well until a sever storm damaged it. The fig tree is still there, but it is bare. We would like to try and revive it. We live in NYC and it is a variety of fig that grows well in this climate (she got the tree from a friend's yard that has a few thriving trees). I do not know the exact variety. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Is the tree a goner? Should we use fertilizer?
