Our Giving Garden

This is my first post, but I wanted to show off our Giving Garden. We garden and donate the produce to local families in need. We also teach families how to garden and preserve food. Our main bed is 18x32, with 2 squash boxes, 2 4x8 boxes and a 2x12 (for flowers). Long story short, I was wondering if anyone else works with a community type garden and if you have any advice for distribution and getting families involved in the process. Our main issue is that we have a lot of produce and people like produce that is bundled and packaged (which is so time consuming). This year we are going to move away from planting a lot of kale, chard and collards because they are hard to store and instead plant things that people love like tomatoes and cucumbers, which are easier to harvest.

We tried golden egg summer squash. Very prolific and unique. Excellent grilled w/ garlic powder.
